On Aug. 1, we're asking everyone to register for just one camp. If there are still openings next week, you'll be welcome to register for an additional camp. We want to make sure as many campers as possible have the opportunity to attend before opening registration for multiple sessions.

What is Ladies Rock Camp?

If you’ve ever wanted to be in a band, wanted to learn an instrument, improve the skills you already have, or if you like being creative with other other adventurous people, then Ladies Rock Camp is for you. NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY — just a desire to rock!

Ladies Rock Camp is Girls Rock Camp for campers ages 19 and up, compressed into a 3-day weekend. Just like GRC, no musical experience is required. Campers receive instruction on bass, keyboard, guitar, drums or vocals, write a song with the guidance of our amazing staff and rock out on Sunday night to a room full of screaming fans.

In one exciting weekend, campers receive:

  • Instrument instructions

  • Songwriting lesson

  • Band practice

  • Workshops

  • All the hard work leads to a fun final showcase concert!

Tuition is $450 for Camp.

FAQs

  • We offer guitar, bass, drum, keyboard and vocal instruction. All experience levels are welcome. Instruction is held in small groups and led by experienced, enthusiastic musicians.

  • Participants form bands on the first day and spend the weekend collaborating to write an original song.

    Workshops are offered on a variety of topics.

    5:30pm - Campers arrive at  High Noon Saloon for showcase

    7:00pm - SHOWTIME!

  • On Sunday at 7 p.m. at a local venue, the bands perform their songs!

  • If you need financial aid, please email Megan at grcmadison@gmail.com before you register and put “LRC FINANCIAL AID” in the subject.  Our camps fill quickly on a first-come-first-served basis so please reach out as soon as possible to secure a spot at your desired camp.  You will receive a response about financial aid within one week of your request.

  • If you are in need of overnight accommodations while participating in Ladies Rock Camp, there are several hotels nearby.

  • $100 deposit is forfeited if cancelling 45 days prior to camp and full tuition forfeited 44 days or less before camp.
